How to download CPPP and state eProcurement tender documents (and what to do when you can't)

Updated 2026-10-28

CPPP (eprocure.gov.in) and most state portals, such as Punjab's eproc.punjab.gov.in, run on the same NIC eProcurement software. They look alike and work alike, so these steps apply to all of them.

1. Find the tender

  1. Open the portal's Tenders by Organisation, Latest Tenders or Search page.
  2. Search by keyword, Tender ID (for example 2026_ABC_123456_1) or reference number.
  3. Click the tender title to open its Tender Details page.

2. Read the Tender Details page first

This public page already holds most of what you need to decide whether to look further:

3. Download the documents

Downloading the NIT, BOQ or the full ZIP usually asks you to type a captcha. Enter it exactly as shown (it's case-sensitive), then download. If it keeps failing, refresh the captcha image and try again, or try another browser. Some portals ask you to sign in before downloading; you'll need to be registered on that portal to bid anyway.

4. Save the details page as a PDF

Use your browser's Print → Save as PDF on the Tender Details page. It keeps the dates, EMD and fee in one file you can share with your team or upload to a tool — useful because the portal's own page can be slow or change later.

5. Check for corrigenda

Before you submit, open the tender again and look for corrigendum entries. Dates, quantities and terms are often changed after publication.

With TendifyAI: upload the saved details page and then the NIT and BOQ; the app reads dates, EMD and fees and checks your eligibility once the NIT is in. See tender analysis.

Always check your own bid. Rules change, and every tender can set its own terms. The bid document, its ATC and any corrigendum are what count for your bid.
